The fourth of July

One of the hardest things about being away from home during the summer are the fun events and holidays that we always miss out on. I don't even remember the last time I was in Utah for the Fourth of July, or was able to go to a carnival (which are my most favorite I might add - a mini disneyland). This year we decided to do our best to feel like we were home. Steve took half the day off (which NEVER happens. It was a miracle guys). we went to the pool and bbq'd with our friends, ate in-n-out (of course). and then found the best fair in all the land! It was seriously awesome! I got giddy butterflies walking in the gates. We ate our weight in fair food and watched fireworks from a ferris wheel. and we took SOO many pictures. By the end the of night my hair was up and steve's hat was on backwards. And we all know what that means ;) It was the most perfect way to celebrate. I love our country and I love my life!

Cheers!
